Produced two shows and directed one production each season; responsible for creating and guiding the artistic mission of the company which is to produce high quality plays and musicals where professional, local, and student artists work side-by-side to entertain audiences, enrich the community, and train the upcoming generation of theatre professionals and patrons; established the Emerging Professionals Internship program where aspiring young artists can get professional experience in directing, stage management, design, and performance; led public relations endeavor to strengthen relationship between patrons and artists by creating a YouTube series showcasing production development from auditions to opening night.

Neil Simon Festival – February 2014-February 2016

Artistic Associate

Served on the Festival’s artistic management team while also directing one production each season; founded the Second Stage initiative where shows are produced with little to no design assistance; supervised and mentored stage management and design interns; assisted in casting and the selection of directors and designers, and fulfilled company management duties by maintaining contracts, artist housing, and wellbeing of personnel.

Created a student ran theatrical production company to compliment the season presented on the main stage and to give additional opportunities to aspiring directors, designers, and performers; produced five to six shows and directed one production each season; increased revenue by three hundred percent by focusing on show quality and advertising; introduced One-Act play festival to involve more aspiring artists in the season; improved productivity of rehearsals by formalizing lines of authority and communication; supervised and mentored show Directors by answering questions and giving critiques; introduced several activities and fundraisers to introduce the theatre to the community.
